This 48 hour course is the core foundation of the Teacher-Gamer Certificate Program where Teachers become Teacher-Gamers through full immersion as players themselves.
Joining a fellowship of their peers, these newly minted Teacher-Gamers will become companions, learning to play as will their future learner-gamer students (aka players). Learning how to play RPGs from scratch and creating characters together, co-creating a dice ceremony and being inducted into the game world through LARPing Teacher-Gamers go on an adventure with their new-found traveling companions.
Everything is new, so we go step-by-step through a creative and highly detailed, character-background building experience and breakdown how the sausage is made behind the Game Master Screen. In-game, players learn how to navigate the game world together and integrate their characters into a seamless authentic storyline.
